He knew how she felt as she gave him words of acceptance. He knew that she was scared, scared of a life that was way different from the one she was used to, scared that she might be asked to do more things when she finally became queen and most of all, scared that he was hiding secrets away from her.
He had assured her that he was going to protect her but even though she had said she believed him, he wasn't so blind to see the handwriting on the wall. He wasn't so blind to see how scared she was and how demanding she was to know what he had been keeping away from her.
Sigh. He hated to see his wife in such a manner. The star he saw in her eyes the first day he met her was gone and was now replaced with nothing but a lack of emotion.
