A wave of silence followed suit. Dav was nowhere close to happy the moment Lilith brought up the controversy about the throne. It pained me that they spoke so sure that the king was going to die and there was no way of restoring him.
Amid the silence, I realized that there must have been some telepathic communication between Dav, Seth, and Lilith and it kinda bummed me out. I so much wanted to know what they were trying to hide from me. If it concerns me, then shouldn't it make sense if I should be aware of it?
But before I could air out my wish to be among their discussion, they all simultaneously turned their gaze at me and hell did that freak me out.
Dav looked at me with nothing but pity, same went for Seth. Clearly, whatever they had discussed wasn't a pleasant one.
