Right after Dav left the room in a hurry, there was a stampede of vampires roaming back and forth in the castle's hallways some of the vampires who spared me a glance didn't even bother to acknowledge me but I just had to assume that there was something wrong with the King, so they weren't in their right form of mind.
Of course, curiosity kicked in, I wanted to know how things were playing out with my husband. A foot after the other, I stepped out of our room, feeling like a child who would desperately do anything just to see her mother and in this case, Dav seemed to represent my mother.
I had no idea of where the King's chamber was but it seemed it wouldn't be so hard for me since I could follow vampires who were also curious to know what happened, although I didn't make it so obvious.
I watched as the vampires ran past me with none of them still acknowledging my presence. Well, I cared less either, their greetings wouldn't have benefitted me in any way.
