From the way things had turned out, there was nothing I would say that would make Dav change his mind. Maybe, Ray had some special abilities that made Dav think he was in a better position to protect me but…he was just too toxic to be with.
I sighed in surrender.
" Now, let's head to our room, so we won't be late for the family breakfast." Dav slightly pinched by cheeks as he said those words.
Though he had tried to hide the fact that he wasn't affected by Ray's words, who was he kidding? His eyes had sold him out. At that point, I started to consider having a child with Dav if I really wanted to last long with him.
He still had a place in my heart withstanding his flaws. I fear that I might never develop such feelings for anyone if he finally dumped me for another female.
" Wife, are you with me?" Dav said to snap me out of my thoughts while he pushed the hair strands on my face to the back of my ear.
" For a princess, you sure think a lot."
