Nathalie Lancaster is put under pressure to marry someone if she wishes to inherit the wealth. Since her biological father and uncle are not going to let her win in that aspect. Even though she was determined enough to not marry anyone, she is called to hospital by her grandpa who emotionally blackmails her into giving in to the demand. Nathalie picks the first guy she meets that day in the park and offers her a contract marriage. Unknown to her, the entry of Lucas is not as simple as it seemed, nonetheless the next day she introduces him to her grandpa and the sudden intrusion and emergence of a guy in her life makes the other family members curious and cautious. They intend and resort to bully Lucas as he is appointed to the kitchen staff and caters the family's needs. Nathalie gets her hands over the wealth but she becomes drawn to Lucas when he continues to protect her honour in front of her family. He swallows every kind of disrespect about himself but nearly breaks her uncle's hand on the dining table when he mocks Nathalie for being an illegitimate child. Her father Boris impregnated a dancer and that was how Nathalie was born, it was her grandpa who rescued her from poverty when her mother died. On her deathbed grandpa promised a good future to Nathalie. She gets into a series of events with Lucas but still does not admit that she has taken a liking towards him until the day when she catches him kissing some other staff member of the house. In anger she leaves for the company as Lucas chases her and they share an intimate moment in the storeroom of her company. On the way back home Lucas gets into an accident when grandpa tells the doctors to not let the news go out because he is not an ordinary man. Lucas is the eldest son of Petrakis family and his proposal came for Nathalie but she refused him without even meeting the guy. But on the other hand Lucas becomes smitten by her when he sees Nathalie in some media conference. And that is how he planned his entry in her life along with grandpa who knew everything. Nathalie gets him back from hospital and cares for him when they become closer. Just when their relationship is getting good she gets a video clip in her office which makes Nathalie scared. Lucas becomes suspicious with her sudden behavioural change as he keeps an eye on her when Nathelie's foul mouthed uncle suddenly disappears. She is called out of her company and meets a mysterious man who turns out to be her ex who wanted something from her. Lucas immediately knew who the man was and he confronted her, the grandpa sent both of them on honeymoon to sort out their issues. Lucas promises to always be by her side no matter what. Nathalie takes him to an orphanage where she tells him about Khal, her son with that billionaire ex, as a result of one night stand. The billionaire ex, Diego wished to meet the boy and intended to adopt him because he and his wife Viviane are children-less. However it boils Nathalie and she refuses him, Lucas leaves the orphanage in anger and Nathalie gets back to the hotel only to know that a bigger mess has been caused by her father in the company. Lucas gives her ultimatum that she has to decide what she wishes to do or else they will split. She confesses her love and gets back home while Lucas goes to meet Diego and beats him up for misbehaving with Nathalie, he takes Khal and brings him back home. In the midst of the mess, Lucas gets a call from some girl who seeks help from him and he rescues her, Viviane comes to meet Nathalie and they both come clean with each other. While the mysterious girl turns out to be Lucas's younger brother Alessandro's gf who had kidnapped her. After Lucas rescues her, Nathalie gets poisoned and goes into a coma. When she wakes things have changed, the mysterious girl has volunteered to be the surrogate for Viviane and Diego, while the media spreads as if Lucas had impregnated her and cheated on his wife. Nathalie disappears from the hospital and Lucas gets a call from his brother that Nathalie is with her and if he wishes to see her alive and the baby safe he should bring him a girl. Lucas somehow manages to get the girl and brings her to Alessandro when it is revealed that he has helped Nathalie in giving birth and hired best doctors, she was not harmed at all instead he helped her understand Lucas' identity and how much he loved Nathalie. The person who poisoned Nathalie turns out to be some other influential woman who wanted to harm Sandro in order to blackmail him into  ddd  d d d d d d d  d d d d d  ss s  s s ss  s s s s s s s s s s s  marrying. She used to work in his mansion and when Sandro kidnapped his beloved gf, she helped the gf to escape so she could have Sandro all to herself once again.
