A message came to John's mobile: Were you really going to smash the phone on to the ground? It was a message from Adan.
John looked around. No Adan was certainly not there in his locality. Or was he inside some building, hiding and having a look at him frim his glass window using some twisted binaculars? He restricted himself from looking around. If Adan was really there, then he would poke him again and perhaps this time he would burst and get the gun from his pocket and shoot himself dead. Thankfully Adan did not message anything now. So, perhaps he was just trying to humour him guessing what an angry John would have thought of doing. John thanked god in his own mind.
Then John shifted his thought from the trivial like Adan to something more serious like the request of Bodil or an alpha werewolf's severed head. He was already deep in mud of tension and to top with that Adan was messing with his head.
How could he catch an alpha werewolf first? To catch one he had to locate one. How to get the exact location of a werewolf? He opened Google Map and searched for werewolf. No pub or shop was there with a name tagged werewolf. He searched for alpha again, but to no avail. But Royal Pin sounded a funny pub with a lot of ratings. He wanted to wet his throat. Wet throat and wet mind would help him in cerebration. He ordered a martini barging into the bar. When the bartender provided him a glass of martini he asked him, "English?"
The bartender nodded his head.
"What is the meaning of 'To catch a grey, fetch a black '?"
The bartender shirked his shoulders.
John asked again, "Does it have any cultural significance?"
The bartender said he was Polish and did not know much about culture around here. But said, "Ask and it will be given to you, seek and you will find it."
John was baffled. "Why did you say this?"
"You asked me I give you an advise to seek it yourself, haha."
John wanted to smash the glass on the bartender's head. But he drank the martini. He got angry upon himself. He must not have asked a fool for a wise suggestions.
Whatever, he thought: Grey may mean a grey wolf or simply a wolf. But what is the meaning of a black? What are some black fantasy creatures? One that came to mind was a Wendigo. A Wendigo is a mythological creature or evil spirit originating from the folklore of Plains and Great Lakes Natives as well as some First Nations. It is based in and around the East Coast forests of Canada, the Great Plains region of the United States.
He thought: So, I've to fly to United States now? Ok, at least I have a clue.
