An attack that annihilated giants and its own divine.
The Dragon Prince of War, a name that began as a mere moniker, has risen to the ranks of the strongest and was now equipped with an infinite collection of weapons, including 10 divine weapons, capable of annihilating even giants and gods.
It was with great approval that many have recognized his remarkable accomplishments.
The force from this divine attack led to tempestuous waves that pushed away the ocean and swept rocks and boulders off the ground.
With the entire area bathing in this brilliant light of destruction no one could tell what had become of Lucretius.
It was the never ending rumbling of the earth as the offensive divine energy thundered down that made Fern and Natia believe His Highness had won. Even if they couldn't see it for themselves.
"...I must admit, that attack would've killed anyone."
Greerheart was surprised to hear Lucretius' voice as the dust cleared and sight was slowly being restored.
The site of the attack remained incandescent for at least a few minutes after the detonation. But that was not the most prominent thing to note down visually.
"So I see he survived.." the Prince calmly uttered whilst grasping the hilt of his axe tightly.
A gigantic humanoid avatar made purely out of magicubes stood far above Greerheart.
It had black accentuated eye holes and a face very similar to a demonized creature of a flaming skull-like head. It had the largest wingspan one could imagine and energy flowed off it in waves.
Roughly 60 feet in height and possessing an ethereal appearance pertaining to a structure made entirely out of energy. This structure was best known as - ⎾True Embodiment⏌.
Within the avatar located in the chest region was Demon Lord Lucretius.
His form had changed drastically; a pair of slightly curved horns had sprouted from the top of his head, and bat-like wings had emerged from his back.
Additionally, black markings had expanded across his face. A dark-colored magicube had covered over half of his body, including the left horn and wing.
This was the transition state of his demon lord physiology.
Facial expression alone showed that Greerheart wholeheartedly approved of these changes. "Yes this is what I wanted to see, your more repulsive side.." he mentioned.
"..." Lucretius doesn't seem to talk much, he preferred to settle disputes with his magic power.
The magical ability known as ⎾True Embodiment⏌ was one popularly used by this particular Demon Lord of the Pentagram.
The overwhelming force equipped the avatar made entirely out of magical power with enough strength to become a force of destruction. It possessed powers enough to cleave through mountains effortlessly and eradicate any army.
Its indomitable size and absolute defence was a feat to behold. The Heavens Fall technique did surprisingly damage it, but an insubstantial damage.
The ultimate level of defence.
The body itself was with magic so dense and concentrated that it would eradicate any magic weaker than it if contact was made.
Which explained his reason for using it, he knew the magical power Greerheart wields was minimal compared to the pure bloods of his kind. He would use this to his advantage.
With this magical ability he could increase the avatar's regeneration for defensive purposes, repairing it faster than it could be destroyed.
A lethal work of art. An extension of the user's will, acting and attacking on their behalf.
"After an attack like that... It's imperative you recover lost magicubes." Lucretius looked down on Greerheart from his avatar and now the latter appeared more like an insignificant ant.
It was remarkable that Greerheart not only employed such a strenuous ability, but also utilized his magicubes to execute an additional, previously unseen technique: the ⎾Dragon Fighting Aura⏌.
It was the most powerful unarmed fighting style as it required minimal magicube usage in combat, and was created by the Dragon God Fafnir to protect the user from most magical spells and physical attacks.
Greerheart learned the technique from Fafnir, and with that knowledge, he was able to master one of the greatest fighting styles to the highest degree.
Lucretius' plan was to finish him off in one attempt. He didn't doubt the power of Greerheart which was the reason he even decided to use this ability.
With the dense level of magic power imbued into his avatar he did not believe there was anything more the Prince could do.
Physical strength was the only thing that had a chance of destroying this absolute defence, that or a superior magic spell. The latter wasn't Greerheart's area of specialty.
"This is your end, Anur belongs to the Pentagram..." he let it slip out that his intention was to gain rulership over the city and by so doing add to the evergrowing influence of the Pentagram.
"The Pentagram?" Natia uttered from behind a mound of earth, she and Fern were far from the battlezone but her sense of hearing was more than praiseworthy.
Greerheart found his words amusing.
"Do you hear the nonsensical drivel spewing out of that gutter you call a mouth? The tales of Lucretius are remarkable; it is said that you consumed seven deadly sins, and was then welcomed into the Pentagram. Your determination and resilience are unparalleled, and your defensive capabilities are second to none. However, my arsenal is limitless and my offensive power, unparalleled; I have the capacity to vanquish anyone. Do not attempt to play the dictator, for each time you die, another sin is eliminated. Once these seven sins have been eradicated, no demons will be able to welcome you.."
A threat of the highest order.
The humanoid avatar placed its hands together and manifested an ethereal blade surging with energy, its length equivalent to that of mountains and its appearance intimidating beyond the shadow of a doubt.
"Intriguing... the ultimate defense against the ultimate offense, let's see who will prevail Dragon Prince." he positioned his blade in an attack form, he was prepared to erase this demihuman, once and for all.
"Excellent.."
A grimoire first manifested before Greerheart and surrounding it were ancient magical scriptures in form of energy.
He placed his hand above it and this prompted the activation of his Unique Skill.
One of his most impressive feats was this ability he was about to put on display. In his opinion, Lucretius should've been honored to witness this ability.
[ Unique Skill • War World ]
He then gracefully raised his right hand, and the clouds above Greerheart and the colossal avatar began to swirl, forming a cyclone. From the center of the vortex, a colossal black hole was ripped open in the heavens.
This immense spatial hole had an unparalleled gravitational pull, and from it emerged an inexhaustible supply of weapons ranging from Tier F to Tier A+.
These weapons included swords, pole-arms, aces, spears, halberds, lances, hammers, and magical swords that had been crafted throughout the ages.
Every weapon was adorned with magnificent embellishments and buffed to a reflective sheen, all unmistakably exhibiting the magical energy that confirms them as magical phenomena without fail.
Natia and Fern were in awe of this remarkable phenomenon.
It was essential to meet certain criteria in order to acquire a Unique Skill. One of these requirements was that the individual must possess a strong desire.
Without any desires or emotions, it is impossible to obtain a Unique Skill, as Unique Skills are a reflection of the mind.
Greerheart possessed an intense longing for combat, a passion to vanquish any individual he deemed powerful. This craving for battle made him a veritable War Dragon.
He single-handedly fought armies, and no one could lay a finger on him, claiming the weapon of every defeated adversary. His Unique Skill emerged from his experience in battle, granting him the capacity to store every weapon he acquired in a timeless space, preserving their condition.
This timeless space came to be known as ⎾War World⏌ and his grimoire served as a key or an intermediary between him and his infinite storage of weapons.
The only weapons he was incapable of duplicating were the ones that stood at Tier S and above, and those include his 10 divine weapons.
"So you're one of the blessed... you possess a Unique Skill." Lucretius did his best to keep his calm even with the wide spatial armory above him that harbored stationary weapons in mid-air.
The most intimidating factor was that of these weapons were magical and physical, both in tandem would serve as a problem for him. And the appearance of this black gaping hole in the sky made trying to escape seem utterly futile.
It was down to a question of overwhelming perseverance against overwhelming force.
"I must commend you demon... no one has made me summon this level of power in ages." he wore a disdainful grin, surely proof of the confidence he had that this attack could not be stopped.
Against powerful opponents Greerheart had only one strategy and that was to exhaust the inexhaustible, absolutely overwhelm his opponent with a barrage of unending assaults.
The question stands, how will this turn out? Who will be the victor?
