Lin Yu'an was out of breath when he got to the town, walking for only a short hour distance felt like he walked for days in the Safari. Had it been himself from the 21st century walking this short distance would have been like a walk from his bedroom to the bathroom, but this body he now possessed was truly weak! Lin Yu'an found a place to stand and catch his breath first, he thought to himself that he had to train himself now seeing how weak he was it was truly shameful for this big boss. he could see food stalls set around and butcher stalls as well as some old and young selling vegetables and grains in woven baskets. He looked around carefully not wanting to miss even the tiniest thing about the town, he came to stop in front of a two story building. From the memories of the previous owner this story building was one of the three famous and big restaurants in the town and the previous owner had eaten from all three and judging from his memories the dishes here were far worst compared to the 21st century dishes, Lin Yu'an suddenly felt as if a pie had fallen down from the heavens for him.
Lin Yu'an himself was a very good cook infact he was no worse than the chefs in the 21st century, having been doing his own house work since he moved out of the orphanage he was staying in at a young age he has been managing everything of himself alone. And with his career which had demands of concealments and living no evidence how could he open his home to outsiders, thinking about it this way an idea pop up in his mind.
He calmly walked into the restaurant.... the restaurant was owned by a wealthy family called the Qing family, this family was into business and have shops all over in this town and the county too, he walked straight to the waiter who was sitting behind the counter, when the waiter saw him approached he looked at Lin Yu'an in doubt and when he saw Lin Yu'an's face well the waiter sneered in disgust which made Lin Yu'an baffled.
" it's you! what are you doing here again? didn't the shopkeeper tell you that you'll be thrown in jail when he sees you here again! " the waiter bared his teeth at him. Lin Yu'an was so pissed but he gritted his teeth ' what convenient body... bah this body comes with a thousand troubles, ah! ' Lin Yu'an cursed underneath. " this waiter I'm here to see shopkeeper Quing "
Lin Yu'an smiled wryly and said not politely nor arrogant to the waiter but the waiter still watched him with hostility in his eyes. The reason why Lin Yu'an was familiar with the restaurant and the shopkeeper here was because of the memories of the previous owner, the previous owner had dealt with the shopkeeper before more like played tricks and cheated but was later caught so he was banned. But the now Lin Yu'an thought he absolutely had nothing to do with that so he wouldn't let the sins and stains of the previous owner affect him,
" ...what do you want to do with my boss? " the waiter asked suspiciously. " don't get me wrong, i just have a very good thing for the shopkeeper just le..... " " bah! bah! bah! you're here to cheat again, you bastard think here is owned by for father right?! someone throw him out for me! " the waiter cut him off without waiting for Lin Yu'an to complete what he wanted to say. Lin Yu'an was truly irritated seeing the disrespectful behavior of the little waiter towards him but he knew it was inevitable and it was one of the unique things the previous owner had left for him to o solve!
He took quick calming breath first and before he could utter another word two huge men looking like guards came out and grabbed him and started to pull him out. The diners started to laugh and sneered as they watched the joke, " little waiter just call the shopkeeper first okay, let me talk to him what i have is really something worth it and of interest to him! " Lin Yu'an shouted to the waiter and he made attempt of pulling away from the guards but with how weak his body was now it was a feat he couldn't pull. " what do you have that's of an interest to me? "
Suddenly a voice sounded and the whole restaurant went quiet as if welcoming the president to give a speech. Lin Yu'an turned to the owner of the voice and he spotted a man dressed lavishly not very tall nor short descending down the stairs in an elegant manner, Lin Yu'an breathed a sigh of relief as he recognized the person from the previous owner's memories
" shopkeeper Quing this time around i really have something of value for you, just give me a chance and i promise you won't regret it. If you don't come to like what i have you can have me pay compensation for disturbing your restaurant.... just give me one chance " after saying that Lin Yu'an lamented on this hard life, he used to be the one whom people pleaded to meet but now he was the one pleading someone else. But he stood firm because even in his previous life that was how he started before getting to big heights and he can start from scratch here too and he was positive he can be more than what he was in his previous life, hearing that shopkeeper Quing watched him skeptically and suspiciously showing his doubts openly but Lin Yu'an wasn't disheartened at all.
" just one chance, if I don't find it worth my time I'll make sure you spend the rest of your life locked up! " shopkeeper Quing warned before waving to the guards and they let go of him. " shopkeeper Quing I'd like to use your kitchen " Lin Yu'an informed making everyone confused of what he wanted to do but shopkeeper Quing still nodded and called the waiter to take him to one of the kitchen.
" If you break anything here you'll pay for it! " the waiter warned fiercely and sneered before walking away and leaving him to do what he wanted to do, Lin Yu'an walked around the kitchen and inspected the things available in the kitchen along with the ingredients. He finally decided to choose three simple dishes to make, he washed his hand thoroughly before starting to work on the dishes. Half an hour later the fragrance of the dishes wafted in the restaurant making everyone started to drool, " little waiter what dishes is smelling so nice, I'd like to order some "
a man dressed scholarly said to the also stunned waiter, he got out from behind the counter and dash to the kitchen in a hurry. When he got to the kitchen he could smell the fragrance more from the kitchen Lin Yu'an was using and the chefs were also standing at the doorway of the kitchen in awe, what he was met with when he pushed himself into the kitchen brought him to awe too. Lin Yu'an holding the handles of pans and turning the sizzling foods in the pan in a throwing manner looking like a he was making art, after the dishes were ready Lin Yu'an served them on plates and when he turned around and was shocked to see how many eyes were on him. He already knew he was being watched but he just didn't know that the eyes on him was so many,
" ah little waiter you're even here... help me take the dishes to shopkeeper Quing "
the waiter blushed in embarrassment when Lin Yu'an called him, he was watching Lin Yu'an worked intently like his idol which made him feel ashamed but he cleared his throat and quickly brought his aloofness pretending to have just got there, Lin Yu'an scoffed and ignore his behavior.
" shopkeeper Quing these are the dishes i made Scallion pancakes, sweet and sour pork and fried noodles .. taste them first and we'll talk after " Lin Yu'an said to the stunned shopkeeper after the dishes were served on a table for him, the diners smelling the aroma of the dishes wished there were the ones tasting it as they watched and drooled. Shopkeeper Quing picked up the chopsticks prepared for him, even though the dishes smelled fragrantly and looked appetizing but what mattered most was the taste. He first picked from the sweet and sour pork dish and reluctantly sent the chopsticks to his mouth,
