Agent Axe was startled by Vale's question. But he quickly smiled and shook his head.
"That would be incredible if it's true... But only the Directors and the Councils would have that knowledge."
Vale just smiled knowingly after hearing this. Nevertheless, he decided not to comment about it anymore.
Soon, they reached another room and Vale could already sense that the Branch Director was inside. With his Divine Sense, he verified that he was indeed a Half-Spirit just like what Agent Axe said.
'So they're not using any anti-inspection artifacts or spells, huh...' Vale thought as he realized that his Divine Sense could scan anyone in the building.
Agent Axe then declared their arrival. After some confirmation from the other side, Agent Axe opened the door and signaled to the Branch Director.
