A swirl of mist surrounded the top of a building; within, did magenta lightning travel.
They coalesced and formed a humanoid figure, gracefully stepping on thin air like an apparition… an unholy entity. Its sky-blue eyes sprung open, radiating a heavenly light. Scarlet hair swayed, burning, hoisted to the sky.
"What a shame?" Alistair's body fully materialized, his face etched with a frown. "No traces. Ragnör has likely left this region entirely. This is not good news."
Alistair raised his left arm and focused. Its form wavered, hue fading as time passed.
Flesh became mist. Bones showed within.
"Here I was thinking I could improve this more," Alistair commented as he gazed at the milky white bones. "Now my test subject ran… what do I do?"
He'd reached a bottleneck in terms of these new abilities. Most ethêrist, eprênist, and dual-pathers were capable of transmuting to their embodied 'elements.'
