"Why do you block me?" Alistair asked. "Are you protecting that scum? Don't you know his existence runs counter to you…?"
"Whether it runs counter or not, it doesn't change the fact you are trying to hurt a civilian!"
"Oh yes, I forgot, such white-collar crimes don't offend you bunch," Alistair chuckled before observing the blade blocking him, contemplating.
'There was a slight bend during collision, like grass. Her ability, it's versatile, but not invincible.
A crack appeared, sword pushed deep into leaf. Eve's eyes widened and she yearned to flee. Her weapon suddenly broke. The weapon snaked to her head.
"Got you." Alistair merely scratched her neck, his face in a smile. "But let's stop here, I've seen your attitude."
