Noelle felt the ache now plunging through his head as fighting an adapted senseless is the same as fighting a normal Ruiner on an equal footing.
It's able to have consciousness on its own but far different from a non-adapted Senseless!
Noelle wasn't even thinking a low progression Ruiners could've adapted quickly since those kinds of Ruiners have become Senseless and didn't know how to adapt yet; hence the only reason he could think of it was a Ruiner who had a higher progression failed to protect themselves from the wail.
