The minute Zhu Qian arrived home from school, he ran to his room. Despite the fact that the room was pitch dark, he managed to move around without hitting any obstacle. The result of a daily occurrence.
He sat down behind his desk, and with trembling fingers, excitedly booted up his laptop and logged onto his favorite author's website. The light emanating from the laptop brightened the room a bit.
The last chapter of the novel he had been reading for a year would be released in a few minutes. Since there remained minutes before the last chapter would be uploaded, and he couldn't contain his excitement, he went to the forum page.

#Good life: " IT IS HAPPENING IN A FEW MINUTES. COUNTER TIMER 02:58."
@Foxy Rue: " O.M.G! I am so excited to read the last chapter that for the first time in my life I did my chores without my mom forcing me to do it. "
###Lazy Panda: " I second that!"

The other devoted and hot-blooded followers of < Vile Flowers> were wreaking havoc on the forum page with dozens of messages every minute. As the timer clicked 00:00, a notification popped up and immediately the influx of messages stopped abruptly.
That was because the notification was for the last chapter of < Vile Flowers> . Every Single person on the website had immediately rushed to click on the notification, including Zhu Qian.
The novel was the best among the best of novels he had been reading, and also his favorite. He started reading the novel when only fifteen chapters were out. But the fifteen chapters were more than enough to hook him.
Fifteen chapters were definitely not enough to let the plot grab the attention and hearts of the readers, but < Vile Flowers> proven otherwise.
You would ask, " Why had Zhu Qian fallen in love with the novel after finishing just fifteen chapters? The answer was…the protagonist!
The chapters were committed to describing the childhood years of the protagonist, and had captured the heart of Zhu Qian.
The poor child had been through the depths of hell and back but never lost his childlike innocence. No matter how horrible he was treated by everyone, he never lost his sense of justice.
Zhu Qian had been with him every step of the way. When he was going through difficulties, Zhu Qian sympathized with him. At times he would cry , as if he was experiencing the pain the protagonist was going through. When he was happy, Zhu Qian celebrated along with him. Zhu Qian had grown on him, and even regarded him as his virtual younger brother.
Zhu Qian was able to see that the protagonist did not fully trust anyone, but was surrounded by many willing to lay down their lives for him. The protagonist had caught the attention of several beauties, both young and old. And the respect of the males.
Zhu Qian was eager to find out how the novel was going to end. However, the more Zhu Qian read , the more his face morphed into something…'indescribable'.
« A peaceful night with two full moons illuminates the world beneath.
A kingdom.
A palace towering up to 3,250 feet can be seen…
What a magnificent Palace!
It was filled with people, males and females, young and old , dressed in exorbitant attires. The joyous voices of them speaking and laughing out loud was like a melody that can't be written. An otherworldly music which brings an appalling sensations to the ears of the listeners.
The cause of celebration…?
A wedding. This was the sixteenth wedding of the King. All his wives were extraordinary beauties. And not only were they attractive beyond words, they also had the power to protect it.
The King, Bai Quiran, the groom was dressed in intricately embroidered red robes. His head was adorned with a golden crown. He was beautifully handsome, and also cold. His cold demeanor enhanced his aura, making him more attractive than he was.
Beside him was the bride. She was wearing a veil, one couldn't make out what she looked like. But with her curvaceous body…one could imagine how she looked.
The ministers and other high ranking nobles were congratulating them, when suddenly a group of men entered.
Four to be exact. Their handsomeness was higher than that of the King. But not enough to overshadow him.
" You are finally willing to confront me." Bai Quiran said in a cold tone.
The woman and the people around him dispersed immediately, leaving him to face the four men . He slightly pursed his lips, after seeing their reaction.
The men didn't answer him with words but actions. The adage, * Actions speaks louder than words*, was brought to reality.
From the barrage of attacks on the King, one could feel the anger, resentment, and disappointment from the exceedingly handsome men.
Surprisingly the King was able to defend against their attacks, and was on par with them. The fight lasted for seven days.
At this moment there was no one except them, and half of the Palace had been razed down. The King was standing upright, but his labored breathing and the sweat that trickled down his jaw , made it clear that he was nearing his limit.
" You Shouldn't have done all that you did. This is the repercussion. " Male lead 1 said. The four males did not even break a sweat. Well, the fight was unfair. Four against one…
" Hahahaha..!!!" Bai Quiran laughed out loud. His laughter was melodic to the ears .
" You found out…but it's too late. All that I did…you can punish me or kill me, but you can never be happy. It's reality. You should face it. "
Hearing his words, the faces of the men transformed into rage. They held their weapons and charged forward.
Puu Rrrttt!!
Bai Quiran coughed out blood from his mouth, as their weapons pierced his body.
" Why…? Why didn't you evade it ?! " Male lead 3, asked with a raised voice.
" I…a.m .. tired." With that said, Bai Quiran's breathing ceased, and his eyes closed.
The four were supposed to be feeling happy. Their enemy was dead. But they weren't happy. They looked at the body of Bai Quiran, sadly, and retracted their weapons from his body.
The Second Male lead stepped forward, and scooped him up in his arms.
The males glanced back at the ruined Palace one last time before disappearing. They looked extremely powerful and elegant, yet at the same time exceptionally lonely.

Zhu Qian leaned against his chair in a daze. He felt as if his Soul had been sucked out of his body, the more he stared at the dots.
After a few seconds of staring blankly at the screen, he finally lost it.
" WHAT THE HECK IS THIS?!?!?!? A YEAR…JUST FOR THIS?!!!!!" His voice boomed in the silent room, as he slammed his hand on the keyboard. His eyes were blazing in anger, as he breathed roughly.
The story he had invested so much time and emotion into had ended, with a freaking ending! He wasn't going to take that lying down. It was all the Author's fault. He was going to make him…her pay. Whatever the gender is , he would not discriminate.
With the formulation of a vicious plan in his head, he stood up abruptly from his chair to enact it, when his vision suddenly turned white and he lost the feeling of his body.
