Chapter 104- Operation: Wishful Dawn (Part 1)
Exactly 4 hours before the time of the execution. The prison was calm, no sounds could be heard coming from any cell, well, except one particular cell.
"Uh, Tenma… Don't move that way." Akio said as he gritted his teeth, trying to hold a groan from his mouth.
"Stay in place, Akio."
"Ugh… Did you finish yet?"
"One last time." She replied.
As Akio lay on the bed, Tenma was applying a weird substance on his skin. However, the sheer pain that the substance inflicted on him made him groan with each touch.
"Is this even necessary?" He asked.
"Yes, this substance can deflect one strong attack. It could save your life when needed. However, don't expect it to stop anything as there is a limit."
"Ugh, fine."
After finishing, Akio wore his shirt and sat down on the chair. Even though he seemed as usual on the outside, deep down, he was nervous.
