Chapter 89- Fifth Layer (Part 2)
"What are you even saying?! One of the knights is dead?! Are you even sure?" The communicator asked with a worried tone mixed with a hint of disbelief.
"Y-Yes! I can see it with my own eyes! It's Miss Mirai! She… She has been killed!"
The guard stared at the silhouette of the woman as she hang from the wall, pinned with a sword that pierced her heart. A huge amount of blood dripped down from her injury and coated the area in a horrifying crimson color.
Her face was pale and her mouth was hanging open. Her glasses were loosely hanging from her ears, cracked and dirty with blood. Behind those broken glasses were open eyes with irises that lacked a hint of life.
No matter how he looked at her, she was definitely dead.
"P-Please send back up immediately. The blood is still new so the one that killed her… Whoever they were, are still here!!" The guard said after examining her body from afar.
