The list consisted of tens of names put in alphabetic order through initials. So, considering the fact that Akio's name starts with an A, he already predicted that he would be one of the contestants at the top of the leaderboard.
However, he didn't expect that he would actually be the second one.
'Is this for the lack of names that start with A?' Akio wondered as he rubbed his chin.
However, other than that, he didn't really think much of it. This was merely the First Layer, a place filled with weaklings that he could easily crush if he wanted to. In fact, Akio was sure that getting to the Second Layer would be a breeze.
His challenges will start in the higher layers where stronger opponents were.
"The first fight will start in 2 hours! Each prisoner can watch it through the holograph! Now, open the doors! The pre-fight break will start now!"
