Chapter 51- Slumber
Akio felt really puzzled by this. He had seen the explosion and had also witnessed where Toru was standing right before it happened. There was simply no way for him to escape that hit even if he started running a few minutes before that.
Yet, here he was, unscathed except for the amputated arm. If there were other burnt spots or injuries, Akio would've never questioned how he came out like this. However, it was exactly the complete lack of injuries that really alarmed him.
The other thing that really didn't sit well with him was the lack of blood where the arm was cut off. The shirt's sleeves were also quite clean if you ignore the dirt.
'This guy… He definitely did something. Is it perhaps his stigma?' He thought to himself.
Stigmas were a very versatile and broad concept with countless abilities so to say that he was able to save himself using that wasn't a far-fetched idea.
