She was overjoyed to see her daughter recalling the struggles she faced during the day she delivered her, and she whimpered.
Jackson was in his car, crammed into a corner, watching her every move. He turned the car around and drove away, leaving his mind at ease that he wouldn't lose her again because he now knew where she lived and would do everything in his power to convince her to forgive him and come back to him.
She approached Grace as she was entering the hallway and grinned coldly as she stared at Melissa, who was then two years old. Melissa looked exactly like Jackson, just exactly how she saw in her dreams, and she gripped Melissa tightly as she said, "You have grown so well." Grace's jaw dropped as she realized how stunning Kate looked. "Kate, is that you?" she asked. She was looking prettier, which gave her the hint that she was doing well. She doesn't believe that something horrible happened just by looking at her.
"Yes, grace, it's been a long time. "Thank you for being such a wonderful mother to my daughter," she hugged her.
"We all thought you were dead, and we are not going to see you again," she said, recoiling from her hug as she caressed her cheek. "You are glowing."
"It's a long story; can we go inside and talk about it?" she smiled.
"Sure, we were planning on packing up and going to my fiancé's house before you arrived.
fiance ?" she was surprised to hear that
"Are you engaged?" she asked her again.
"Yes, my wedding is next week; thank God you're here to help me with my wedding arrangements," she said as they entered the house.
Kate just wouldn't stop.
She sighed as she surveyed the residence, saying, "I have missed this house."
"What happened to you?" Grace asked.
"I was knocked out and was in a coma for over three months; I lost my memory for many months; I don't even know who I am; I was living with the vandal; the person that brought bitterness into my life ended up giving me sweetness," she replied. Kate frowned almost instantly, remembering how admirably Jackson treated her.
She has given him her heart, and it is difficult to reclaim it. She must ignore the love that Jackson has ignited all over her and focus on her vengeance to make Jackson pay for everything he has cost her.
"Melissa's father; he is the source of my predicament," she says, her eyes red.
She said, as tears began to fall from her eyes, that she can't pretend any longer because she misses Jackson so much, but the bitterness in her mind will not allow her to accept the fact.
"Don't worry, Kate; you'll be fine," Grace said as she approached her.
Melissa joined her and held her mother. "Don't cry," she said to her as she cleansed the tears in her eyes with her hand; it's turned Kate's emotion. "Look at how big you are now, come here," she said as she carried her,
Kate looked around the house. "Everything is packed in one corner. " She has this feeling that Grace wants to sell the house, the only inheritance her father left for her before he died.
Kate recalls Grace telling her that the house reminds her so much of her father that she wonders why she wants to sell the house
Her mother condoned her, and she got married to a very rich man who could give her all the jewels she ever desired.
To relieve herself and be sober in her circumstances, she wishes to live here with her daughter.
She pondered whether she should ask her if she could stay or risk having to pay rent.
"Grace Exactly what is going on? She asked as pointed to the crowded house ,
"Yes Kate, I'm trying to sell the house. There's no need to stay here since I'm getting married and my husband has a large mansion, and you can join us as my big sister. The place would be kind of boring without you. "She gestured
Staying with Grace in her husband's house doesn't seem too good to Kate. "No, love, it's best that I stay here as I will be paying house rent, and it's not a good idea to stay with you and your soon-to-be husband." "I will come occasionally to see you, dear."
She gave Kate a hug and said, "Don't worry, Kate; you may remain here as long as you want." "Just don't pay me house rent, okay?"Grace said to her

Jackson finds it awful to go days and nights without the scent of Kate, as it makes him feel even more alone. His heart was aching as Kate's presence continued to pursue him, and he felt as though his entire body was piercing, so he went to a bar in the hopes that drinking would help him to numb the pain.
Given that she had come to love Jackson with her entire being, Kate was in Grace's home, alone in a room. It had been extremely difficult for her to part ways with him.
She has loved him with all of her heart, and ever since she left Jackson, she hasn't been able to stop thinking about him. However, she hasn't been able to forgive him for what he did to her, and because of this, she lost her job in the past, and a lot of other things have also happened to her in the past that she can't ride off. As she held her phone in her hand and sobered, she wished that she could call him.
She can make everything happen by becoming drunk.
Smoother, unstoppable tears were streaming down her face, but she seemed uninterested in what was going on.
In the bar, Jackson ordered five Aperol Spritz bottles and began to sip them one after another, which is something he had never done before becoming intoxicated.
He became something else when drinking because of his love for Kate.
He had his phone in his hand and was looking at Kate's number when he wanted to call her, but his heart prevented him from doing so. He continued drinking until he became inebriated and had trouble navigating the bar.
He repeatedly says, "Kate, marry me, and let's leave together," until he passes out at the bar. The waitress noticed that he had consumed enough alcohol and couldn't leave in such a state, so she took his phone, which was not password-protected, and saw his beloved as she turned on the backlight and dialed Kate.
Despite telling herself, "I will not pick this call after all he did to me, he still has the gut to call," she is almost eager to receive his missed calls.
Until she heard back from her, the waitress would not stop calling.
She picked up the phone out of the blue, "Please Ma, your husband is severely intoxicated. I'm calling from Kico Bar; we are about to close," the waitress stated before hanging up.
she flung her phone on the floor and dashed out of the house without telling Grace where she was going in a hurry.
She was breathing quickly, and she was determined not to let anything bad happen to him because he was her life.
She couldn't understand why she wanted vengeance for the past when her heart was constantly calling him every day and every moment, but her other mind vowed to revenge for the past.
when reaching the bar.
She discovered him with his head on the table, and he was sound asleep.
She came closer to him and tapped his shoulder,he squeezed his eyes shut, but he could still make out her face blinking like a morning star and said, "My darling, please don't leave me again. Please give us a chance. I vow to make everything right."
In order to avoid him, Kate grabbed him by the side, led him to his car, and drove him home.
On getting to his house, she led him to his room.
"I can't afford to live without you. "Don't go," he kept on saying that to her again and again.
She slumped him onto the bed and fell on top of him. Her heart skipped a beat. She felt the thunderstorm as she was lost in his arm, staring at him. She was lost in her thoughts. Her body responded to his words before she could think. Jackson's lips were pressing hers passionately. Jackson's lips were pressing hers.
She undressed him and herself while closing her eyes and remembering what it was like to have him choke inside her as he screwed inside her.
She gently moved until she forgot herself, savoring the moment because there might not be many more.
He was limp as he fell asleep almost immediately, leaving her with no choice but to join him and doze off.
A wave of remorse and self-pity yanked her back as she awoke seeing herself naked in the bed with Jackson. Tears welled up at the corner of her eyes remembering the night Jackson raped her. She hurriedly stood up from the bed and put on her clothes, making no sound in order not to wake Jackson from his sleep. She dashed out of his house.
Jackson woke up groggy and exhausted. He was shocked to see himself naked as he tried not to think about what really happened last night that caused him to be completely naked. His head was spinning so badly that he felt a little drunk. He knew that he had taken three bottles of Aperol Spritz to dull the pain he had been feeling lately because of Kate, whose name had caused him to sob in agony.
He had a queasy stomach as he went inside his bathroom to throw up; he vomited until nothing was left in his stomach; he staggered in his bed and was turning and tossing himself; his head was spinning him so badly he didn't know how much he had drunk last night but couldn't think why he was feeling so bad.
and why he saw himself naked when he awoke. So much had happened the night before that he had no idea what or who had brought him home that night as he sobered.
He was deep in thought about the previous night.
As he began recalling what transpired and how he made love to Kate, he was overcome with remorse, wondering if he might have done something wrong the previous evening.
He was perplexed as to why Kate had appeared in his sober state and that they had made love in that manner. "Has she forgiven me?" he asked himself, remembering that he needs to see Kate in order to find out how she is doing and the status of their relationship.
He was ecstatic and even depressed over Kate submitting to his touch on yesterday's night because he could see that she was deeply in love with him.
and he could tell from the expression on her face and the look in her eyes that she needed him terribly after last night. He grinned cynically as he reached for the car key and sped off to Kate's house, but Kate was not there because she had gone to Grace's house to assist her with the wedding preparations that will take place tomorrow.
Jackson stood at the door and began to knock loudly, hoping to get a response from her. After about six minutes, he became weary of knocking and thought, "It's good to allow her to be for now; maybe she is not expecting someone at the moment." I will come back next time. I'm sure she will forgive me." He then went back to his car and began driving home, but he couldn't stop thinking about her.
He kept picturing what had happened between him and Kate, remembering how she had kissed his cheek, jaw, forehead, and shoulder, which made him even more heartbroken for her. He hopes that she will understand how sincerely sorry he was and how much he missed having her in his life; they were inseparable.
"Kate is mine and mine alone. I'll do everything humanly possible to see that she comes back to me." he said to himself
