Over at Qin Shoiming's end, things in his neck of the wood were relatively silent since the fight with his son.
Qin Shoiming looked up from the computer as his office door opened. The video call with the US headquarters had just ended.
it had gone on longer than he had expected, and his throat felt a little dry. He walked to the small counter at the side of the office, picked up a bottle of water, and drank slowly.
Secretary Jin clasped the report and held it to his stomach and stood in front of the table as Qin Shoiming returned to his seat,
"Chairman, I just received the report on the investigation of the eldest master's expulsion".
Qin Shoiming nodded as he swallowed a gulp of water, and kept the bottle of water aside. He kept a hand on the desk and held the secretary's gaze, "What did you find out".
