The following Friday night, Qin Shoiming went to the Ministry of Work's banquet as planned. It was held in the Grand Ballroom of Oak crest hotel on the 50th floor of the hotel.
The entire 50- 53rd floor had been completely closed off to accommodate the foreign dignitaries, the country's high-ranked government officials, and business leaders invited to the banquet.
Among these was Qin Shoiming, who occupied his reserved penthouse on the 60th floor. Qin group had been involved in the construction of the hotel and as such he had been gifted a penthouse suite.
He had gone over to the hotel hours earlier to meet with some dignitaries privately before getting dressed and joining the banquet.
The banquet was in full swing by 10 pm, Qin Shoiming and Qin Hai conversed with dignitaries and potential business partners.
