Corey had no idea what he was to expect after he left the nameless town, but this time around, he was extremely wary of one thing.
Distractions.
During his stay in the nameless town, he realized that he was easily distracted despite knowing that he was to reach the Altar of Hell as fast as possible.
Ever since he got his talent of Omniscience, he became an extremely curious fellow, and being in a strange town in a Tribulation of Hell naturally piqued his curiousity.
If he decided from the moment he stopped talking with Old Man Ten that he wanted to leave the town and that he was not going to spend some time observing the town and its people, he would have left the town a long time ago and the skeleton would most likely not be as heavy as it currently was.
