"Just one kilogram isn't enough, don't you have anymore?" he asked eagerly.
Tarak laughed bitterly. "If it were that easy to kill a level-3 beast, we wouldn't be stuck at level-2."
"How about this, we add 10,000 Meta along with the meat. What do you say?" Fox added.
It was an acceptable deal. In the next few minutes, Lucifer exchanged the sack with a piece of the meat and a pouch filled with Meta.
"Pleasure doing business with you." Tarak smiled.
"And you too." Lucifer nodded and then turned to leave.
"If you have more beast materials to sell, you can come to Steel Valley Base and ask for Xenium group, they will direct you to us. Steel Valley is also more advance than any other base within a hundred mile radius. With your strength you might survive the harsh environment." Fox said before Lucifer dissappeared into the bushes.
"Why?" Ecko croaked, stubbornly heeling his broken hand from Hertley and Aitan, the glaring at both Fox and Tarak in dissatisfaction and anger. His arm had been broken by the kid but his crew members treated the hid like some sort of business partner instead of dealing with him together. This made him infuriated to no end.
"Tut Tut Tut." Fox clicked his tongue and then shook his head.
Ecko's face change slightly. Fox always does that when someone does something he finds stupid. "What!? What did i do wrong thus time?"
Aitan and Hertley also listened. They knew the kid was strong and within wasteland, 'Big, fvcks small.'
But with the coordination of their group, they could face any level-3 individuals and even a Transcendant of they fought with their lives in the line. He just couldn't understand why they gave in to a kid like that.
Fox ignored the dissatisfied Ecko and asked Tarak as he spoke, glancing at the direction Lucifer took. "Did you see the modified revolver by his waist?"
Tarak nodded solemnly. "I've only seen that type of weapon from that group."
"I also heard that that group suffered massive losses of men a few days ago when searching for a natural treasure in the wilderness." Tarak continued.
Hertley and Aitan's eyes widened in disbelief.
"You are saying...!?"
"That's impossible!"
Ecko was even more confused. "What does any group have to do with the kid? Does the kid belong to a strong mercenary group?"
Fox's face twitched slightly, Tarak face palmed while both Aitan and Hertley chuckled as though they had expected something like that to come out from his mouth.
Ecko was slightly embarrassed but he turned it into anger and bellowed. "What? Did I say something wrong!?"
"It means there's a possibility that the kid is responsible for the losses the Wild Griffin mercenary group encountered a few days ago." Hertley explained in detail.
This time, Ecko's face changed slightly hut he shook his head, saying. "That's impossible. The lid might be strong, but the difference between my strength and his is just one level otherwise I would have crushed him."
The four nodded their heads. Since there might be truth in his words.
"Ecko might be right. Wild Griffin Mercenary have at least twenty level-3 Evolver equipped with Firearms and at least 50 level-2 and level-1 Genetic Soldier. It might be impossible for a kid like that to cause them to suffer losses." Aitan evaluated.
Re
Fox nodded his head at the possibility. "If that's the case, then we didn't make a loss during the deal. We've all gained approximately 15% evolution point from the flesh of the fiend beast, there's no more evolution progress in that meat. And even if there is the possibility that there might be, it's only 1% evolution progress left."
Rarak nodded his head in agreement. If Lucifer wasn't the cause of the Wild Griffin lose, they didn't make a lose either way but if he was the cause of the Wild Griffin losing more than 40 percent of their level-3 Evolver, they at least made a friend from this transaction.

The sun was starting to set when Lucifer noticed it was getting late. The night was forever dangerous as that was when most gf the mutated beast come out to feed. Lucifer didn't plan to be food for the beast therefore, he was hurrying fast to the base. He knew how dangerous it was if he was surrounded by a pack of Vile Wolf. Even if he was an Evolver, there was no way he would have the chance to escape such massive pack. He would be shared into pieces. Fifty percent to the alpha while the remaining fifty percent to the members.
It took almost three hours for Lucifer to get back to the base. During that time, the base had verified the authentication of his previous mission and had already rewarded him for it.
But there was no actual reward for the mission, only the opportunity to gain a second chance from deserting the base when it was in trouble. Lucifer felt it was uncalled for.
Since he was equally facing a young Vile-wolf at that period, he didn't desert the base, he was instead fighting for his own life nifty since he made a promise not to reveal the level-3 wolf, he was sent to a mission that almost killed him.
Just as Lucifer produced his badge, allowing entry to the base, one of the guards came up to him.
"What's wrong?" Lucifer brows furrowed as he asked.
"The Base Master is asking to visit her immediately you arrive. I hope you don't make things difficult as we head to her place." One of the guards headed towards Lucifer as he said.
Lucifer was even more confused. He gone for the mission and even explained in details in the scroll how things had ended up. He didn't think the base would still be suspicious of him.
Lucifer didn't make a sound and only nodded his head and followed as four level-1 genetic soldier lead him to the officr of the base master.
