Nolan poured the content of the bottle into the shot cup and downed it the next minute. He was in a foul mood. Audrey spotted him from the balcony and frowned. She thought he was going over to Leila's house to sort everything out. She actually thought things went well since they did not see him for two days at home.
But now he was back and drinking. She walked down the stairs and just before he could refill the glass, she snatched the bottle. "Give it back" he said with a frown and seriously but Audrey was not buying it
She did not care that he drank but what she cared about was the fact that he was drinking excessively this days and surely it was because of Leila. "What happened?" she asked
"Give me back my drink" he instructed
"Until you tell me what is wrong" she said
"I'm not going to speak until I have that drink down my throat," he bargained
"Fine" Audrey placed the drink down in front of him
