"This came for you a week ago," Sharon said, placing the box on the table
"Leave it there. I'll check it later" Leila said, sitting up.
Sharon left and Leila turned to the files in front of her. They were making her feel dizzy, but that was what she signed up for when she decided to start a company at nine, but before she could pick one up, the box took her attention. So she picked it up and opened it.
Almost immediately, a voice echoed in her head, "Do you like it?"
Leila shut her eyes and flung her hand to the back of her head as a sharp pain hit the back of her head. The voice sounded far away, but in a billion years, she would always know who the voice belonged to. Raphael.
Slowly, she dropped her hand, fluttering her eyes open. Her gaze dropped to the open box before her. A red marble shone dimly within. She placed her hands on her forehead followed by her elbows on the table, looking down.
Can she have a day of peace?
