After an hour of the plane taking off, it landed. Leila casually walked out towards the door of the airport building with her suitcase in hand rolling behind her. Few steps to the door, she spotted Nolan with his head on the back rest of the chair with his eyes closed.
She had completely forgotten that they planned to meet by two but it was already past ten in the night. Why was he still waiting when he could not get through to her?
She exhaled and walked up to him slamming her suitcase before him which made him jolt.
He squinted his eyes at her. "Leila?"
Leila said nothing and just stared at him. "Well, that's a nice way of saying thanks for waiting" he said standing up
Leila moved back giving him the space he needed. "Why did you wait?" she asked
He took her suitcase as he spoke, "Cause I wanted to"
"Moreover, I wanted to drive you when you get back" he added as they walked out the building
