Leila wanted to decline, but her legs opposed the idea as she walked to the seat. She hated this feeling of not being able to say no to him, and worse, she felt like he knew.
Taking a seat, she began placing some food on her plate. She wanted to get this over with and be gone to her bed.
Beatrice glanced at Leila with a smile. She knew that she was uncomfortable being this close to people, but at least she was not running away and facing it head-on.

Mr. Marvin concentrated on his food as he put more food into his mouth after swallowing. Leila, on the other hand, stared at the food on her plate for a while before grabbing her cutlery.
