The grip was firm, almost bruising, daring her to defy its hold. Eva tensed, her mind racing with apprehension as she struggled to discern the speaker.

With a swift and forceful motion, the figure maneuvered her body, twisting her around to face him.

 Eva's eyes widened in recognition, her breath catching in her throat. It was Xylon, his blue eyes ablaze with an intensity that sent a shiver down her spine.

"I-I wasn't trying to..." Eva's voice faltered, but Xylon's grip tightened around her trembling form, his touch like a vice closing in on her fragile frame.

As he drew her closer, he couldn't help but notice the telltale signs of her distress—the tears glistening in her eyes, the flush of heat coloring her cheeks, the rapid rhythm of her panicked breaths.

Eva's resistance crumbled at the realization of Xylon's identity. A sense of resignation washed over her, leaving her paralyzed and unable to move.
