As Sylvan effortlessly carried Eva through the Forbidden Forest, the dense canopy overhead cast dappled shadows on the forest floor. 

The rhythmic crunch of leaves underfoot and the distant voices of unseen creatures created an otherworldly atmosphere.

Eva couldn't deny the convenience of Sylvan's offer, and despite her initial resistance, she found herself settling into the unexpected comfort of his arms. 

She stole a glance at his face, a mix of amusement and satisfaction evident in his expression.

"You seem to be enjoying this," Eva remarked, unable to suppress a small smile.

Sylvan chuckled, his voice a playful melody. "Well, it's not every day that I get to play the gallant demon offering a damsel a lift through a mystical forest. Consider it a rare treat."

The banter between them lightened the tension, creating a momentary reprieve from the serious mission at hand.
