The climate in the farm was a phenomenon of its own, unique and distinct from any other region. Even though the vast expanse of the desert Kazarich surrounded the area, the weather was far from scorching hot.
Instead, it was a perfect blend of a refreshing spring morning - a gentle breeze brushing through the fields, the warm sun rays kissing the skin, and the clear blue sky stretching as far as the eye could see.
It was a place where nature was in perfect harmony, where the rain only poured over this blessed land, and the warmth only enveloped this quaint little farm. The weather was a living testament to the magic that flowed in this place.
As the days passed, Xylon gradually became accustomed to the serene atmosphere of the farm. He found himself becoming more observant of his surroundings, taking note of the various elements that made up the peaceful scenery.
He knew every inch of the land, from the small farmhouse to the sprawling that lay beyond it.
The fragrant blooms of the flowers in the garden and the rustling of the trees that dotted the landscape became a soothing background to his days.
The pond was one of Xylon's favorite spots on the farm. It was a place where he could sit and reflect, watching the tranquil ripples on the water's surface.
He often found himself lost in thought, contemplating his past and his new life as a Soul Keeper.
The farm animals provided a welcome distraction from his introspection, and he enjoyed watching them go about their daily routines.
The chickens pecked at the ground, the rabbits hopped through the fields, and the cows grazed on the grass.
Despite the presence of these animals, Xylon spent most of his time inside the house. He was determined to learn all he could about the magic and power that came with being a Soul Keeper.
The books that Arthur had left behind were his key to unlocking the secrets of his new abilities.
Xylon would pore over them for hours on end, taking notes and studying the intricacies of each spell and incantation.
His dedication paid off, as he began to grasp the basics of his newfound powers.
Every night, he would spend hours reading and studying, his mind completely absorbed in the magic that he had discovered. He became so invested in the process that he could feel his very soul yearning to be a part of it.
Finally, after weeks of intensive study, Xylon felt that he was ready.
Xylon stood in the middle of the field behind the house, gazing out at the expanse of land that was now his responsibility. He knew that this place was linked to the spiritual realm, but he couldn't quite figure out how to access it.
As he looked around, he noticed that there was something strange about the area. It was as if the field had a life of its own, and he couldn't help but feel that there was more going on here than met the eye.
With a frustrated sigh, Xylon muttered to himself, "The key to this place is the only thing missing, and not mentioned in those damn books." He had spent countless hours poring over the tomes left behind by Arthur, but none of them had provided any insight into how to unlock the secrets of this place.
Being a demon, he was familiar with the concept of non-traditional keys that could open doors to mystical places. Suddenly, a memory struck him like a bolt of lightning. He recalled the time when he wanted to enter a forbidden place in the demonic realm, and the key to access it was the energy of the demon who guarded it.
"Ah, just as I thought," Xylon muttered to himself. "The key doesn't have to be a physical object like a key. It could be an energy, a person, a spirit... Akuna!"
Realizing this, Xylon's heart started racing with excitement. Could it be that Akuna was the key to unlocking the spiritual realm connected to the field behind the farm? Her body acting as an anchor to that place, just as the energy of the demon was the key to accessing the forbidden place in the demonic realm?
Xylon couldn't wait to test his theory, so he quickly went in search of Akuna. He searched all over the farm, but she was nowhere to be found.
He decided to go back to the field and try to meditate there, maybe he could reach Akuna through his powers. As he sat down on the ground, he closed his eyes and focused on his breathing.
" She said that she was always here and always will be, she is here, the problem is that I can't find her, I could feel all of the energies in this place from the small insects to the big animals and trees, and all of the magic that is in this place but not here" he said to himself .
He searched the farm with his senses, feeling the energies of all the living creatures and the magic in the place, but he couldn't find Akuna's presence. Frustrated and bored, he called out her name, hoping for some kind of response.
To his surprise, he heard the sound of small footsteps coming from behind him. Excitedly, he turned around, only to see the farm dog approaching him. Disappointed, he sighed and clapped his hands together in realization.
"A dog... Akuna... you are the dog," he muttered to himself. The realization hit him like a ton of bricks. The farm dog had been there since the beginning, and Xylon had failed to recognize her.
Xylon raised an eyebrow as he turned to face the dog, his expression full of sarcasm. "Well, well, well, look who decided to show up," he said dryly. "You knew I was looking for you, didn't you? But you chose to hide yourself, didn't you?" he continued, his voice tinged with annoyance.
He paused for a moment, his eyes narrowing as a thought occurred to him. "Wait a minute, was this some sort of retaliation because I refused to have sex with you?" he asked, his tone incredulous. The dog, however, just tilted its head to one side, seemingly oblivious to Xylon's accusations.
Xylon let out a sigh and shook his head, realizing how ridiculous his own question sounded. "Never mind, forget I even asked," he muttered.
