Once Micah got close enough, he ordered his two hogs to stop, and he got off the one he rode. The two beasts were too conspicuous, and he didn't want to get noticed by the Hungry Hogs before his subordinates came.
It would be a shame if they lost their chance to overwhelm the Hungry Hogs with a joint surprise attack just because Micah was too lazy. So, he walked on his own two feet while the two hogs hid behind a decently large pile of rubble. He sneaked closer and hid behind the ruins of what had been houses.
But he could pretty quickly tell that the Hungry Hogs weren't on alert.
The Hungry Hogs knew that they had an absolute advantage over Wither and everyone in Vanitapolis, whether it be in terms of strength or numbers. Even if Tineya and the others had managed to steal a couple of hogs and even kill a couple of Riders, they still didn't pose a threat.
