Micah didn't bother waiting for an answer from the other two before he dashed out from behind the waist-high mist they were hiding behind. Rego took the other side, and Baldas flew up and over the Hungry Hogs Corps and Vanitapolis.
Micah and Rego took detours on opposite sides of the Hungry Hogs and their mounts, all of which had started waking up and reorienting themselves.
It was clear that they wouldn't be able to buy any more time by using the rules of fair and honorable conduct during military operations and clashing opinions to object.
Instead, they were going to both try and save Micah and go to Pride's Mansion to seek shelter and inform Pride of what was going on in case he had somehow missed it. But if Pride was so weak that he hadn't even sensed the Queen of the Night's power being used, he probably wasn't strong enough to defeat the Hungry Hogs Corps.
