Kairon walked with firm steps. He wasn't confident. He hadn't been during his first go at fighting to stall for time, and he was even less so now that he knew how strong his opponents were and that he had lost some of the pol strengthening his body. Fortunately, it hadn't been much.
Besides, the trauma of how the previous fight ended still lingered in his mind. His body should be fine, but Kairon could almost feel the remnant tremors and sensations of the finishing move that hadn't finished him. He shuddered just thinking about it.
But all that was now in the past. Kairon wouldn't let it stop him from fulfilling his end of the agreement with Micah. He shook his limbs and body before raising a hand.
"I object!"
Hakkel smiled like he was meeting an old friend.
"I, Hakkel, the right Vice-Captain of the Hungry Hogs Corps, serving under the banner of Baron Stramphzod, accept the objection. I wish you a fair and honorable fight, Kairon."
