Ystris was conflicted. The food was tantalizing, almost suspiciously so. And just like the humans of Vanitapolis, Ystris and the other demons hadn't eaten anything really delicious in a long time. The only difference was that they didn't have the same innate desire for food that humans had and had lived with on Earth.
But that didn't mean they didn't like eating food. If anything, demons usually held a gluttonous curiosity toward food of all kinds.
However, mere food wouldn't sway Ystris and distract him from his duties as the demon-in-charge of Vanitapolis. With danger quickly approaching, Ystris didn't have time to indulge in eating, even if it looked delicious.
