After checking in with Hugo and the other workers and making sure they hadn't stumbled into any more problems, Rego led Baldas to the root cellar.
"Are you sure it's okay to enter Pride's house without asking him first?"
Rego didn't even look at Baldas as he answered.
"Of course. He gave me permission. What? He hasn't allowed you to enter on your own?"
Rego couldn't miss out on an opportunity to taunt Baldas a little while pulling on the door to open it. During their walk to Pride's Mansion, Baldas showed that his personality was very easy to bully and joke with. Rego didn't know why, but bullying or teasing people who are easy to bully and tease is just fun. Maybe that was why he was in Hell.
"There just hasn't been an opportunity to make it official. I am sure Pride would happily let me enter his house on my own if I asked."
"But if you have to ask, is it really the same?"
