Micah and Baldas returned to town. Alas, Baldas had yet to find the answer to his question and was left with a feeling of loss.
"Stop sighing like that. It's annoying."
Since Baldas was sighing like a maiden waiting for her husband to return from war, and it was distracting, Micah told him to stop. Having a floating eyeball demon accompany him was one thing. But Baldas sighing and acting weird was something he didn't want to endure.
Baldas partially snapped out of his reverie and was about to rebut or answer Micah when he saw Rego approach. It seemed like Rego had been waiting for them to come back from Pride's mansion.
"Welcome back, Boss. How did it go?"
"Dashing success. We're moving on to the next step at once. Are there any buildings along the main street with two floors – at least two floors, that is – a nice open space and room for a balcony?"
Rego thought for a few seconds before answering with a question of his own.
