Baldas thought for a few moments as he tried to come up with a way to explain to Micah.
"So, the thing Hell needs is, in short, for Pride to regain his strength and reinforce the Authority of Pride, one of the Seven Deadly Sins, which are like cornerstones of Hell's power."
"Okay…."
"But that doesn't mean it has to be the Pride we met. As long as the Authority of Pride is strengthened, Hell will get better and regain power. Of course, if someone usurps the Authority, it will take a blow, but compared to the damage Hell will take if things continue as they are now, it's bearable."
"I see."
Micah thought for a moment as he pondered on the ramifications of Baldas' words.
The Seven Deadly Sins weren't specific individuals. They were positions that could be taken away. That made things a lot more interesting.
