Tineya held back from trying to punch Micah's shoulder by thinking about her salary that she had already lost once by being foolish.
Since she wasn't losing or getting robbed of the five bronze coins she didn't need in order to keep her power, Tineya was still accumulating more pol than she used. But she didn't want to lose out on the salary since it would help her get stronger. And if she got stronger, she might be able to get back at Micah.
At the very least, Tineya didn't want to lose her daily salary for something as stupid as getting taunted by Micah.
After controlling her violent urges, Tineya reported the state of the town to Micah on their way to Wither HQ. Not much time had passed since Micah left for Pride's Mansion, and Vanitapolis was still as Micah had observed on his walk through the town.
