"How's it going for Art?"
Micah ignored the awkwardness that sprouted from Tineya's attempt at lightening the atmosphere and changed topics. Micah had already confirmed the state of the Cube's business, and since Tineya was in the booth, there wasn't a need for her on the floor, which meant it was peaceful.
So, instead of asking Rego and Tineya about what they already knew, he could ask them how it was going for Art and, by extension, the two clerks who were aiding him with the lending business. He was, after all, the only one of the three executives who was doing something.
"He's over there at the moment, boss. And it looks like he's doing quite well. But you will have to hear the details from him."
Rego looked out at the Cube and squinted for a few seconds before finally pointing in a direction.
"Has he been going around and talking to people all night?"
