Kairon had clearly rejected Micah's recruitment offer after his fight against Chris. But Kairon was the only person that Micah actively wanted to recruit. The other residents of Vanitapolis didn't seem to be nearly as useful or good at fighting as Kairon.
Fighting wasn't everything, but it played a large part in the activities of Hell. Kairon also seemed to have a pretty good head on his shoulders and wasn't driven by a traitorous desire for money and power. It was clear what Kairon wanted. And if Micah could help him achieve that, Kairon would, at the very least, feel grateful toward him.
Unfortunately, it would probably take a while until they could find Kairon's sister or even leave Vanitapolis. But that didn't mean there wasn't anything Micah could do.
It wasn't difficult finding Kairon since he was sleeping on the ground in the shadow of a house.
"Hey."
Micah tapped Kairon's shoulder with the tip of his shoe.
