"Oh! Bossman, you're back!"
Tineya enthusiastically greeted Micah shortly after he reentered town. Since he didn't want to deal with the hassle of interacting with the humans and Micah's subordinates, Baldas took off again.
Micah nodded at her as she joined up with him on their way to headquarters.
"So, what have you been up to, bossman?"
"Not much. Just got to know the landowner a little."
Tineya looked at Micah in confusion until her eyes widened in disbelief before she looked at him with doubt.
"When you say landowner…."
"The guy who technically owns this town and the land around it."
"And that is…?"
"Pride."
Tineya flinched after hearing Micah say 'Pride' out loud. But she kept herself from reprimanding Micah as Rego had done.
"Umm… Bossman. About speaking that individual's name…."
"Don't worry about it. He's a harmless and friendly guy."
"Wait. You were serious about meeting him?"
