Unlike Kent's group, where the underlings were sent to meet Micah's group with violence, Tineya's stood on their lawn and waited for Micah and his followers to arrive. Tineya even stood in front of her group instead of hiding inside the house as Kent had done. She had two of her subordinates close behind her as she stood there, waiting for Micah with crossed arms.
This time, Artholomew made sure to walk behind Micah and show his subservience to Micah so that Tineya didn't make the same mistake as Kent.
Tineya looked straight at Micah when she spoke.
"So? What's your business here?"
"I'm taking over the place. With force, if I have to."
Tineya looked behind Micah toward the large group of common thugs that far outstripped her gang in numbers.
"I don't think you're that interested in my turf alone. So do you mean the town?"
"Yes."
"And you know what that means?"
"Yes."
"Sounds fun. I'm in if you can beat me."
Tineya unfurled her muscular arms and stepped forward to meet Micah in the middle. Her subordinates didn't say anything and stepped back.
"Boss…."
Micah's subordinates were a little worried since they knew how little pol he had absorbed compared to Tineya. Of course, they didn't know exactly how much Tineya had absorbed or that Micah had lost some when Baldas awakened Micah's ability.
"Don't worry. Just stay back and enjoy the show."
Micah said it confidently so that all his subordinates could hear. But he also whispered to his closest followers and told them not to intervene, even if he was about to lose.
Micah took off his suit jacket and started rolling up his sleeves as he walked forward to meet Tineya.
"Want me to spare your face?"
Micah responded to Tineya's taunt without even looking up from his sleeve rolling.
"Giving someone else the kindness you didn't get?"
Tineya grinned.
"Rude bastard."
Micah chuckled.
"Well, I have no intentions of pulling my punches because you're a woman, so if you want to target my face, be my guest."
Micah finally finished rolling up his sleeves and got in a fighting stance. Tineya only had a tank top and pants, so she didn't have to go through a similar routine before she was ready. Her simple outfit and well-trained body were proof of Tineya's experience with brawls and her preferred fighting style.
Since he had heard from Rego and the others that Tineya fought with an aggressive and ferocious style, Micah chose to fight a little more defensively. And Tineya revealed how good of a choice it was since she dashed forward at a speed greater than Micah could keep up with.
If he went on the offensive, he would only hit empty air. However, as long as he didn't succumb to Tineya's offensive, he would find an opportunity to counterattack.
But when Tineya's full-powered kick to his side sent him gliding across the ground, Micah realized that he had to find that opportunity sooner rather than later.
However, it didn't look like Tineya was going to give him that opportunity since before Micah could even stabilize himself after her kick, she was already in front of him, aiming a punch toward his other side.
Micah blocked the punch with his forearm, which began throbbing with pain as if it was fractured at once. Before Micah even had time to put his guard back up, despite his throbbing arm, Tineya made use of his attempt to do just that and unleashed another sucker punch in the same place. But this time, Micah didn't have time to block it, and he received a direct blow to his body that was heavy enough to lift him off his feet.
Tineya naturally didn't let up and threw a punch with her other hand toward Micah's belly. It was enough to make him stumble backward, which was another opening Tineya didn't let go of, and she front-kicked Micah hard enough to push him even further back.
And before Micah could regain his balance, Tineya ran and tackled him to the ground, eerily similar to what Micah had done to Artholomew. Artholomew even winced as he saw it. Tineya also targeted Micah's face, just like Micah had targeted Artholomew's. The only difference was that Tineya used her fists instead of her elbow as Micah did.
Tineya's fists splattered blood, and Micah's arms that tried to defend his face quickly lost their strength and fell to the ground. Confident that she had knocked Micah unconscious and thus won the battle, Tineya began standing up as she faced Micah's subordinates, most of who were disappointed. There was one who looked incredibly angry, but it didn't look like he was a threat.
And most importantly, it didn't look like anyone was going to come and take revenge for Micah.
But that was because the fight wasn't over yet. Rego still held on to Micah's words that they shouldn't come forward, even if it looked like he was about to lose. After seeing Micah's other fights, he refused to believe that Micah would go down so easily, even if Tineya were overwhelmingly strong in comparison.
And Rego's belief that the fight wasn't over yet came true.
When Tineya lifted one foot to step over Micah's unconscious body, the half-closed eyes on his bruised face flashed open, and he grabbed Tineya's other leg and rolled on the ground.
As he spun, Micah tugged on Tineya's leg and pulled her with him. Tineya was caught by surprise and lost her balance, but she didn't simply fall to the ground. Before she could even put down her other foot to try and catch herself, Micah rolled and slammed her to the ground on her back.
Tineya got the wind knocked out of her, but she still tried to get up and defend herself.
But as soon as her back was off the ground, Micah slithered around her locked her arms in place with his legs while he put an armbar around his neck.
Tineya might be used to fighting, but she probably didn't have experience with such snake-like strangling techniques. So, even if she had incredible strength and nearly managed to get out of the hold, using only raw physical muscle power, she couldn't quite escape Micah's grasp.
And before long, with Micah's vice-like grip around her neck, Tineya lost consciousness and passed out. And she didn't fake it as Micah had done.
