But, even though those two were the ones who had just killed one of their comrades, they recognized Micah and knew that he was the one Baron Stramphzod wanted. Gunnel had also pursued Micah earlier, but now that Micah had come back without Gunnel on his heels, there was something off.
Naturally, they followed Micah in an attempt to catch up to and catch him.
It was a sound decision since Micah obviously was of a higher priority than Art and Tineya, even if those two humans had accrued more of the Rider's ire by killing a bunch of the Hungry Hogs Corps' Riders.
