Micah began thinking about how he would have to force his way through the trees and bushes now that Pride was out cold and couldn't open up the path for him. But as soon as he walked around the corner, he realized it was a useless worry.
Gunnel had already cleared the path when he entered the estate.

The destruction Gunnel had left in his wake made Micah even more aware of how close he had come to dying again. But for now, he was thankful that he didn't have to swing his wrench like a machete and try to clear a path through the jungle.
Micah looked in the direction of Vanitapolis as soon as he left the Mansion, and it was clear even from a distance that the Hungry Hogs had come a long way in the demolition of the town.
Micah cursed inwardly as it looked like the café had gone down.
