By the time Micah accepted the fact that his ability, the Negotiation Tactic Handbook, was a little hit-or-miss with what its pages contained, he had already come so far that he could hear Rego.
"Boss!"
However, he was breathing too hard to talk properly, so it was only after Micah rode past him and picked him up that Rego could catch his breath and start.
"What did Pride say?"
Micah glanced back at both Rego and Gunnel as he started on another lap around town, trying to see how much destruction the Hungry Hogs had caused.
"Uhm, he didn't say much. He was busy swinging away at the ground like the rest of the town, so, on that front, it was going well. I also saw a bunch of demons contributing, but I couldn't tell if it was all the ones in town."
"The verdict, Rego?"
"Right."
At Micah's stern tone, Rego realized he hadn't given a proper answer or solution to their situation.
