The Hungry Hogs Corps Captain sat up straight as he looked at Micah getting closer. He fished out a compass from a pocket on his mount's saddle.
"You. You are the one our liege wants."
The Captain's words sounded ominous as they reached Micah without the Captain even raising his voice.
Micah quickly realized that the curse he had gotten from killing Stumps was showing its effect. The Captain probably used the compass to pinpoint his location.
Micah didn't have any intentions of hiding or fleeing from the beginning, so he nodded as he looked at the Captain.
"That would be me."
The Captain didn't express any hostility with his words or actions as he nudged his mount to advance two steps before he leaped off it. If anything, he looked curious about Micah's identity.
