Just watching Hugo and team one work was boring, and Pride considered going back inside his house to keep Rego company. But he wanted to join in on the digging and also get along with the workers. So, he couldn't do that without missing out on the opportunity to do that. But it looked like it would still be a while until it was time for the teams to swap.
Pride sighed and fiddled with his shovel as he started playing with his ability by making two flowers run around his feet, chasing each other.
That little act was a lot more interesting than watching team one dig, so the others in team two watched Pride's flowers instead. And just like that, Pride no longer seemed as intimidating.
Still, no one dared speak to him, but they were no longer uncomfortable just being close to him.
