Pride awkwardly accepted Rego's hug.
Since Pride was so much taller and wider than him, Rego felt like a child. But he suppressed that feeling as he took a step back and let go of Pride again.
"Well, if you have a storage like this in your house, I'm kinda curious about what else you might have hidden away."
Rego felt a slight awkwardness begin to sprout since neither he nor Pride knew what to say, so he decided to change the subject. Even if it was forceful, Pride happily accepted the topic change with relief. Though, his heart was still warm from Rego's hug.
"Yeah, me too."
Rego looked at Pride in confusion. It was his house, wasn't it?
"Amnesia, remember?"
"Right."
Rego let out a short laugh. He didn't know if it was intentional or not, but a person with memory loss asking if someone else remembered something was ironic. The smile lifting the edges of Pride's lips told Rego it was on purpose.
