"Nothing's changed.." Daniel remarked as Logan lead them through the passageway that connected the library and his father's lab. Upon arrival, Logan had taken them to the library first, but when Jeffery wasn't there, he was now leading them towards the lab.
"Welcome Daniel. It's been long, how have you been?" Jeffery's voice asked from the farthest corner of the room, where he stood absorbed in an experiment that was soon concluded.
Daniel didn't answer, he couldn't even if he wanted to. He was too angry to speak, anything he said now might actually come back to backfire. It was better to remain silent.
"Angus Credence, been a long time too, right?"
Just like Daniel Angus remained silent, there was no need answering such an obvious question, besides what good would it do Jeffery if he answered.
