Daniel woke up with a slight headache but the aching in his head played no role in stopping him from seeking about the wellbeing of his brother.
"Calm down Daniel, Alexander's fine." Angus assured, stopping the eager Daniel in his tracks.
Now relieved of his fear, Daniel returned to the sofa he once laid on.
"What happened?"
Angus's eyes left that of his friend and focused more on the television, making it obvious that Daniel had probably done something stupid in his berserker state.
"Nothing, don't worry about anything."
"And what is that supposed to mean?" Daniel asked in a powerful condescending manner. "There's no way you can tell me nothing happened, not when you have that look on your face!"
As the tension in the room cleared out a bit, Angus turned towards his friend and lifted his shirt to reveal a deep injury that pulsated with a dark energy.
