"Manuel is dead" Clinton announced to the rest of the elders seated around the table.
"We're not sure yet. The disappearance of his mana doesn't mean he's dead. Maybe he's just so far away that we cannot sense him anymore" Edward argued. To him the loss of Manuel was the loss of hope, and he didn't want to lose all hope yet. He believed in Manuel, he was the strongest no measely blood sorcerer could put him away.
"We all know it's hard to believe, but that's the truth and we must all accept the truth. If Manuel was going to be away don't you think he would've told us. Or are you going to pretend that neither of you noticed the spike in mana levels in the atmosphere few hours ago?" Clinton questioned and got no response.
"That's what I thought" He added after nobody could provide an answer to his question.
"What do we do now? Do we tell the clan members? Without Manuel our chances against Jeffery are slim"
